This is a presentation on the patron saint of France, Joan of Arc.
Use it as part of a lesson or for an assembly for KS1, KS2 or KS3.
The presentation covers her childhood, the start of her mission, her victory, her downfall and how she is remembered. The last part of the presentation includes some interesting questions to provoke discussion.
This is an assembly for Mother’s Day, with a focus on a Bible quote. There is a 4 page pdf plan and a 20 slide animated PowerPoint (non-editable- click ‘Read Only’ to open). In this assembly, children are encouraged to think about what they learn from their parents. The plan is easy to follow and requires no resources, so is perfect for using at the last minute! I like leading assemblies that are interactive, engaging and relevant to the children’s lives. So this assembly involves discussions and a long anecdote on some childhood incidents where the assembly leader did not follow their parents’ rules. You can use the examples in the plan or use an anecdote from your own childhood. There is also an example prayer/reflection to finish with.
This is an interactive powerpoint quiz all about Easter and spring. It contains 60 questions suitable for using with year 2 up.
Use as a starter, an assembly, a filler or a main activity. All questions are multiple choice and are split into 4 different sections: The Easter Story, Easter Traditions, Springtime and Spring Animals. After you have chosen an answer for each question, click again and the correct answer changes colour.
